I live in the south on purpose. I put up with heat, humidity, fire ants, mosquitos and hurricanes. The trade off is supposed to be that I don't have to freeze my a$$ off ... EVER.
I do not appreciate this.

I thought I might be able to make it all winter not turning on my heater but today I gave in.

Heather... seriously? You JUST turned your heater on? I've had mine on for at least 2 months now! Granted there have been days I've had to switch to A/C here and there... but the majority has been the heater.
Well I'm in a tiny apartment sheltered mostly from the outside elements. A bit different than you and Kristy!
